The women stand to the left. My mother is the one on the far right who looks really nervous, as usual. My sister is in the middle next to the small girl. Individually I don't think they stick out quite as much as me, certainly not in terms of height. As a family, though, we do stick out quite a lot. Taiwan has such a homogeneous society. So a white woman with a Chinese husband and two mixed kids, one of whom is taller than most of the people around, well, we are going to attract some attention.
